Athlete of the month is Dan Swope. Dan has been an athlete with A Sporting Chance for a couple of years. Dan enjoys participating in softball and volleyball. 

Dan attended school in Aurora. He said he likes to come to A Sporting Chance so he has the opportunity to make friends, because in Aurora there are not any activities where he can get out and meet new people. In his spare time, Dan enjoys making crafts.
